Our Games

By downloading, accessing and/or using our games, you consent to our collection of your personal data. If you choose not to create a Kiro'o World profile, the information we collect when you play will be anonymous, but we will collect device-level identifiers and other information associated with those identifiers including:

For example, we may ask for your permission to access your contacts in order to invite them to play with you. To provide you with our games and other Services, to ensure that all purchases made are verified on our servers and activated in the games, and to provide support if you need it;

We use your information to make our advertising and other services available to you and to optimize them so that you, along with all of our players, can enjoy a better gaming experience. To this end, we use and analyze aggregate data to ensure that our games function properly on all devices and provide all of our players with an optimal gaming experience.

We may use personal information available to us to prevent cheating, crime or fraud. To prevent fraud, we may also pass your information to agencies and other organizations involved in fighting fraud and crime, such as the police.

Legal uses

We may use your data as required by applicable law. For example, if you are a resident of the European Union, we will provide you with invoices with VAT where required by law or in response to a request from you.

Create a Kiro'o World Profile

You may add information to your Kiro'o profile or connect to our Services with a third-party network (such as Facebook). In this case, your personal information will be visible to other players and we will also use it for other purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, including marketing and advertising.

Kiro'o World Profile

When you play, we will assign you a unique, randomly generated identifier that we will associate with a Kiro'o World account called a "Kiro'o Profile. Your Kiro'o profile will not be personally identifiable unless you decide to add your personal information such as your name, an avatar, your email address or other information.

Your Kiro'o profile and the information it contains will be visible to other users of our services. If you decide to add personal information to your Kiro'o profile, it will be visible to your friends and other players around the world.

If you choose to view another person's Kiro'o profile, that individual or other users of our services will know that you have visited their profile because some of your social network information and a link to your Kiro'o profile will be displayed on that person's Kiro'o profile.

Connection to a third-party network

When this option is available, you can log into your Kiro'o profile using your account details from a third-party network, such as Facebook or Google. In this case, you will be able to use your account to log in on multiple devices and sync progress across those devices. When this feature is available, you'll be able to see your friends who are playing the same game and their progress (and they'll also be able to see you and your progress), or you'll be able to access another feature we make available in our games and other services, such as inviting friends to the game.

Information we receive from Facebook

If you log into your Kiro'o profile using your Facebook account settings, we will receive some of your Facebook account information. The exact information we receive will depend on your Facebook account settings, but in general, we will receive your basic public information such as your username, email address, age range, gender, language preference, country, friends list and any other public information.

We also collect your email information associated with your Facebook account and the names and avatars of your Facebook friends who are already participating in our games. You can choose to prevent us from accessing your email address in the Facebook dialog box the first time you link your Facebook account to your Kiro'o profile. If you give us your email address, we may use that email address from time to time to send you marketing emails about other games and services. You can unsubscribe at any time - see Unsubscribe from Kiro'o direct marketing below.

Logging in with Facebook will not allow us to make posts on your page without your permission. If you do not want to display your presence and progress in the game to your friends on Facebook, you can override this setting by logging out of Facebook in our games and updating your application permissions in your Facebook settings.

Information we receive from Google

If you log into your Kiro'o profile using your Google Account settings, we will receive some of your Google Account information. The exact information we receive will depend on your Google Account settings, but in general, we will receive your basic public profile information such as your username, email address and profile picture. If you allow us to access your Contact List, we will use and save it to help you find Google contacts who are already playing our games.

Marketing

Unless you choose to opt-out as explained below, we and our third-party partners use your personal information that we collect for marketing communications about other Kiro'o games and related services based on your interests. For example, we may send emails, advertise as part of our services or post advertisements on third party websites, applications and internet connected devices.

What information do we use for marketing?

We use personal information to ensure that you only receive marketing messages that are likely to be of interest to you. We may therefore use your personal information such as :

Cancellation of Kiro'o's direct marketing

Please note that if you opt out of receiving interest-based advertising, you will still see the advertising and you will be able to see advertising for Kiro'o products, but this advertising will not be targeted using your personal information.

Our games may include advertising for third-party products and services.

Kiro'o and its advertising partners collect and use your personal information to improve advertising, targeting and measurement systems so that we can show you relevant third-party ads in our games.

We use the information we have about you to make ads for third-party products and services most likely to be of interest to you. You may view these advertisements as part of our games or services.

In order for us to process your request, you must delete our games from your mobile devices as well as our cookies from any device you have used in a web browser. In the event that we delete certain personal information, we may still retain some information for other purposes, such as financial reporting, protection or enforcement of legal rights, maintenance of marketing suppression lists, or for technical reasons, including maintaining the technical security or integrity of our database. We may also retain your information in an anonymous form. In some cases, your information that is visible through games such as your username, avatar and high scores may be cached on other players' devices and we will not be able to delete or update this data from those devices, for example, if the device is not connected to a Wi-Fi network.
Account deactivation: If you have created an account on our site, you may request that we deactivate that account by contacting us using the information below. We may request additional information from you in order to deactivate your account. This may include information about your mobile device. If you wish to completely deactivate your account, other steps you can take include unlinking your Facebook account from our mobile games and removing our games from your mobile devices. Please note that if you completely deactivate your account, any progress you have made in our games and any unspent virtual items, such as lightning bolts, will be lost and we will not be able to restore them in the future.

About the children

You must be at least 6 years old to participate in our games and use our services. Kiro'o takes appropriate security and technical measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss or misuse. In addition, we require that our suppliers who process personal information on our behalf take a wide range of measures developed to protect your personal information and maintain an appropriate level of security. However, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information both online and offline, because by its nature the Internet is not a secure environment and the nature of security risks is constantly changing.
